Default Lowering spring install

Where is a good shop to get springs installed locally? What sort of cost should I be expecting?

Thanks

Where is "locally"? I wouldn't drive from the Springs to denver just for springs.

Denver/Boulder area...Although if I could save a hundred bucks in the springs I would drive down there.

After getting springs installed you need to get your car aligned ASAP. So driving that distance on the highway would probably not be good for your tires.

I drove mine for about a month before getting the alignment with no negative effects. You will be fine.

I've done springs in the past myself. They weren't too bad. Took like 3 hours with a jack. You shouldn't need a spring compressor, since you are doing lowering springs. ALso, it helps a LOT to have air tools. Anyway, just call some of the performance shops listed in the phone book. Average charge is like $100-$200 for a shop to do them.

Rexfan555,

I could install your springs for you in my garage we can work out a deal plus i have the stuff to do alignments.

I live in Westminster PM me if you want to work something out.

I have done suspenstion changes on my Subie 3 times, we just lifted my friends Subaru GL wagon and we built our rally car in our garage so i'm sure if you help we can get it done over this weekend or when you have time.
