Hey guys I don't know if anyone has seen this, but fasttune.com is offering tuning courses for your specific car with Cobb AP, for half price. Guys who are following me and asking about learning to tune should check this out. They go into great detail and you have the material forever. Just make sure you click the buy now tab thats for your specific car. Also they have the tuner one thats $100 I believe and you get all the subaru tuning with AP. So just wanted to give guys a heads up. For the next five days it's only $50 and the material is available after the 25th when the sale is over.

That website doesn't work. Keeps going to a godaddy landing page. You might want to recheck the site name.

Hey peeps. Looks like I found the problem. The fans are not cycling, I had an issue when everything was going back together there were two connectors that were the same. The temp sensor one and another and I crossed them. So now the temp sensor is not reading the temp properly and the fans are not comming on. as soon as I put defrost on and the fans come on manualy the car cools right down and runs perfect. so getting a sensor today from subaru. I wanted to say thank you to all who helped and gave me advice on what to do, I really apreciated it.

Update, Car runs good no more over heat. Needs a retune and then it will be all set engine wise for now. After I do the retune this weekend I will post up my results. There are a few little things that still need to be done but I can do those things one at a time. still need to install Sti wing water temp gauge and so forth. I am so glad to bve driving my car again.

^ First of all congrats on the sponsorship and I'm glad you found the problem. All the setbacks are just part of the modding game, some have it easy, and some don't. Either ways enjoy the car.

Thanks my friend and I will enjoy. I can not wait to do my retune this weekend. The car has a lot of power as it is, but you can tell it wants just a little more. Specially with all the changes I have made for now. Plus I think it will look awesome with the Sti wing on. Give it a nice custome look.

Here are some pics with the new sponsor banner and new radiator and stuff.

If you compare these to earlier pics you'll see the radiator is new and the addition of the GS AOS and a few other things. Hoses and what not.

Man I wish I could get sponsored to just build a street car. I cant even get my racecar sponsored which looks completely wild and gets towed across the country on an open trailer.

Auto-x, going to dabble in time attack once I'm sure the car wont break. It already looks like a time attack car.

So on my way to work this morning there were no people on the road so I wanted to open her up just a little. Got up to 120, what a difference with the Ewg. Holds boost beautifully and it takes off harder than with the Iwg, big difference. I can't wait till I do the retune tune today and see what kind of numbers I can get. I should be able to post up numbers by the end of the weekend, if not then next week for sure. I will also be putting on the Sti wing this weekend and then when I get my clock tripple gauge pod in this week, I can finish the installs of my egt gauge, water temp gauge and my wideband gauge will go in there also. So altogether I have fuel pressure, boost, water temp, Egt and wideband gauges.

Awesome thread man! Just subscribed to watch your progress. Your doing everything to your car that I would like to be doing with mine! Was on track till the baby came ten months ago, and with another on the way, my modding looks to be coming to a drastic holt. I guess I can mod vicariously through your build thread lol! Keep up the good work!

Hey everyone just a quick update. I have been tuning my car on and off this weekend just have a few more wot runs to make tomorrow to see if I can squeeze a little more out and finalize the tune. Going through tonight setting up my limiters and and delays as well as my avcs map and throttle maps and so on. I'm targeting around 10.6-11 AFR and 21psi boost, tuned for 93 oct seeing as how I don't have any e85 stations near me. The closest one is in NY and I don't feel like driving an hour everytime I need gas, lol. So 93 will work for now. But when it comes time to go to the track, a couple weeks before I'll put together an e85 map. Hope everyone had a great weekend, I will be taking pics to send to my sponsor so I will also post those up here this week. I just want to try and get my wing on first, there's just never enough time to do anything it seems.
