Drop that turbo if responsiveness is what you want. Get something much smaller.

If you want you should go for a spin with me, it's actually very quick to spool/respond. Just not in 1st gear. But like I said, I'll probably go 20g.

If you wanna make the trip to my pad, you can have my old hood scoop. I might be interested in the seat swap as well.

In the DSM world we see very bad things happen when any Shockproof product is used in the trans. Haven't researched on Scobbie boxes FWIW but I'd suggest caution.

Subaru Extra-S fluid is the bomb IMO. Won't fix worn/bad syncros but it will optimize everything. Stuff is pure gold for our vehicles.

I have never been a fan of the STI blue interior, always thought it looked like a clown car. I'm trying to go 02-03 interior since the seats are bolstered the best out of any U.S. spec seats. Also hoping to trade+cash since I am downgrading a bit to a less desired interior.

I want the bolstering of the 02-03 seats and to retain the factory airbags, not going for looks necessarily but I definitely don't want TR or 0607 seats. If I could find decently priced 04-05 seats I might do it but I'd prefer limited seats or bugeye seats.

You need V7-V9 seats. They are tighter than the 02-03 seats believe it or not. I do love the bugeye stays though. I have a set I keep moving from DD to DD.

I thought the JDM seats didn't have airbags? I've sat in some V8 seats.... I think I'm in love. Each side of the seat hugs your leg individually.

They don't. And most of them are blue which you don't want either. But they are so nice. I just picked up a set of V8 fronts in mint condition. I need to swap the rails and bases from my current seats. I also got the matching V7 wagon rear...

But yeah, I like air bags as much as the next guy. Heck, I design them for a living. But the seats are too nice to pass up. Good by airbags. I figure good enough for literally every other car market besides the US, good enough for me.

Also, I would strongly suggest the yellows over the RCE blacks.

That's where I'm slightly torn. I'd prefer to stay higher on the stock struts, and to also be able to take jittery turns better (to soak up bumps), and with as much as the suspension is going to flex I'm worried the yellows will have me too low. Any thoughts on that?

I've installed the yellows on 4 GD STi's now. Both myself and the owners have no complaints that I'm aware of. I've never known them to be anything but stable and compliant. That's the best I can tell you. I had the RCE's on my wagon (wagon specifics, but had the same rates as the yellows) and I took those offroad with no issues. I miss them even now with my KW V3's.

You should definitely rebuild the struts while you're in there. Add grease fittings. It's super easy and convenient. Ask Kevin about the set we did for his car.

oh I just realized that's somebody else's ad. are u wanting to trade just seats or door panels too? I don't like the sti interior either so I traded mine for Black 05 interior but I have a set of bugeye door panels and can trade my seats for the bugeye ones from my buddy and throw u some cash too. I'm just trying to get the sti interior back in one of my cars to sell

Currently looking for bugeye F/R seats so that they will match the interior.

I have a bugeye rear seat that I'll let go super cheap if you end up needing it.
