Default utec or unichip...what's the difference?

i would like to get an engine management system. i already have an avc-r and an afc installed. would adding an ems be very beneficial after what i already have? so far, there's a full catback exhaust as well as the electronics mentioned above. i will be adding a larger turbo kit (injectors, fuel system, etc.), so would it be worth it yet to get the chip?

thanks,

-salvatore

Since you already have the SAFC, just get a Delta Dash, that way you can control both fuel and timing. Or just ditch the SAFC and go with the UTEC. Either way, you have way more tunability compared to the unichip, with which you have no tunability.

There is TONS of info out there on these two systems. Do a search, you'll find days worth of reading.

the only thing you can do with the DD in regard to changing stuff is engine IDLE rpm, the delta dash is a datalogger!

a unichip is a piggyback ecu that offers 0 end user control

the utec is an ecu that works in unison with the stock ecu that allows the user to change everything
