Default Reverse lockout problems

Installed Kartboy front and rear shifter bushings yesterday. After I got everything snugged up I tested it out. 1-4 are fine. To go into 5th and 6th you have to hold the reverse lockout up. Shifting into reverse is like shifting into 6th normally. What the heck did I do? It was a pretty straight forward install. Took maybe an hour and a half. Went back underneath after and made sure everything was tightened up. All is good. The reverse cable isn't kinked or anything. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone ever seen something like this? Did a quick google search and couldn't really find anything on it.

U need to re adjust the reverse lockout cable or when u put the front linkage bushing in u over tightened that bolt so hope this helps

It gets even more finicky when u install a short shifter so keep this in mind also if so choose to put one in.

I probably tightened it too much. I'll get under there and loosen it again and see if that helps. Thanks!
