Jeebus that's awesome!

I spent the 2013 Dragon run pushing my setup to [my] limits. haha My setup shouldn't really change much by Apr14. Although I hope to have a bit of cooling stuff worked out.

I'll have a few changes and all of my boost! I was running around on 12psi max thanks to a blown up pipe to turbo gasket.

What's wrong with your cooling system?

Nothing wrong, just super hot. I forget his name but I really liked what he did to his white hawkeye fender with the vent. Probably doing something along those lines with my hood and getting a blanket and some wrap. I'm running nearly 400whp with 23psi and kept my tmic...it gets suuuuper toasty in there! haha

Yep that would be me. Tristan right?

I've since built the box to shroud the intake. It's currently made out of aluminum but I plan on eventually making it out of composite. I also plan on supplementing it with a forward facing air source.. Maybe even a inline fan but we'll see. I'll get some pictures for ya.

As of right now with no insulation, no lid, and gold foil on the outside I'm averaging around 11*s above ambient at cruising speed.

Hmm, so Brock Samson hit me up about this. If I'm not in the desert, I'll be there. There aren't too many subies around here, but I can hit up the Charlottesville crew and probably get a pretty decent turn out.

Here is the cabin website Ben. Our group is renting out the "the lodge cabin", if you have a big group, its not that bad of a price, plus the pictures of it will speak for itself. Hope its useful to you guys in deciding where to stay. We were going to rent the "hawks view cabin", but we had more guys wanting to come. Will for sure make it next year with you guys. But after that I won't be able to go the next two following years.

That's me. I'd love to eventually build a shroud for the intake. Right now it looks gheyto. Although with plans for ducting from the fog and possibly some other ideas in the works, I'm hopeful for good results.

Hahahahaha, its actually only about $20 more per person than last year. And we are staying a full 7 days. So its not that bad.

Will be my wife's and I 20 year anniversary, so we are saving for a 3 week vacation/wedding vows renewal in Hawaii. I'm really excited about that, but hate missing this event.

I may be confused - point A on the map is a restaurant where we're doing the raffle and meet?

Point A is where the Meet will happen. We can hang out, photo ops, do runs on the Dragon etc. At 1pm, we will depart that spot and go to the restaurant for food and raffle.

Thats how we did it this past April too.

the box

the duct

a couple just for fun

Let this be a warning to those not in the know.. I had my ebcs hard mounted to the chassis and it made an annoying constant "tick". So I took the rubber grommets from he bottom of my stock intake box, chopped them down a little and came up with this. No more tick and its qr'ed with wing nuts in case I have to pull the intake and box.
