What's required to do this ? Is there a how to guide ? Or should I just yank the seat out undrill the rails and drill some holes and bolt it back ?

You mean physically re-bolting the seat rails further back? Jeez how tall are you? Ive actually never heard of anyone doing this. I wonder if it would affect the seatbelt .

**** so this might be a dumb thing .

I'm 6'5" around 233lbs .

I just found out the boss mustang has the seat rails moved back or they are extended . Maybe I could get extended seat rails

I wouldn't attempt to ghettofab sliding rear seats. That puts a pretty big question mark in accident survival.

iirc HKS make a stock replacement seat rail that mounts the seat lower

also guys, changing the seat rail mounts? very unsafe. an AWFUL lot of engineering goes into the crash safety of our cars. they're mounted where they are, how they are for a reason.
