Default Hood Scoop Lights!

I was looking through some 3rd party websites and they were advertising lights that could be placed in the hood scoop but I was wondering if anyone has done this successfully or, even better, if anyone has pictures.
I have a rally blue WRX an would love a warm blue thy "leaks" from the hood scoop but I know that there is Texas laws against like those stupid windshield nozzle lights and I would assume the same law would translate to that.

It's been done. It looks like cheap crap, it's illegal, and blocks airflow to your intercooler.

Don't let these folks discourage you. Its your car, not theirs. Do what you like with it. Though I would suggest you not to put the light on the scoop as it will block air flow. And if it can get you pull over by the cops, don't bother with it. You don't want to give them cops anymore reasons to pull you over because they will.

I saw something like this last night. Car had some bright purple lights on the front maybe in the headlights and then some on/in/around the scoop. Reminded me of the Close Encounters spaceship.
