Default Picked up my car today! Going back tomorrow

Well, I'm sure everyone knows by now that my car has been in the shop since 8-8-02. We picked it up last night and this morning the check engine light came on again. I took it to the dealer today right after work and they said it's the #2 cylinder now. I'm so *7^%en pissed. I'm really confused on what to do.

Is anyone going to law school or know what I should?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa

Lisa,

Your car sounds like a good candidate for the Lemon Law. Check with your Better Business Bureau about arbitration. You could also consult a lawyer.

What you need to do now is gather up all the documenation about the troubles your car is having. Write down all the times you had to call the dealer, SOA about your car. If you had to take time off to take care of this write this down also.

Do a search on the internet about the Car Lemon Law. There should also be some books about this.

Check your owners manual or warrantee book if this is talked about.

About ten years ago I successfully recovered almost all my money from Nissan for a defective Maxima.

Let me know if you need more help.

Anthony

In your owners manual, there should be a leaflet describing the CA Lemon law and your possible remedies. If it is not there, ask your dealer. It is the law that it is to be included with your owners manual. It will give you all the steps you are required to take, who to call, what to write, etc.

oh that sucks...

well at the very least I think that you should check in to seeing if they would replace the engine, that is if they have not already done so...

I don't remember what exactlly it went in for, but I do remember that you pretty much blew the turbo.

anyway, let us know how it turns out.

Lisa,

What day are you bringing your car in?

Were you able to talk to the owner (Bob Starks) about this problem?
