Post TSD Rally anyone?

Would anyone be interested in a TSD rally if I can find out when one is? I'm sure some local rally chapter has one.

I've been lookin for local TSD's but the only thing I can find is a national in Tuc, invite only. I'm in, along with probably 5 others from the rally crowd.

Any ideas on the details?

Question

Don't mind my ignorance, but what does TSD stand for?

At first I thought it would be cake. But this is a Solo II/road racer town. I'd throw one but have no time to org it this year, maybe the solo community knows of one.

Kastle, TSD is Time Speed Distance. You have X time to cover X distance, at X speed. It can get VERY technical, and timed down to the thousandths. I know of teams that take dirt, and dust on the road into consideration for wheelspin.. (freaks ) You get points for being off time. The one with the fewest points wins.

Yeah, Basically it is so people don't go insanely fast and see who can finish in the fastest time. A TSD Rally tells you who much time it should take you to get from check point to check point. If you go under or over the time, you get penalized!

In Michigan where I competed in a couple, the winner only missed the check points by at the most 2 seconds (And sometimes 0 seconds!) The crazy thing was that he was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus! Hardly a rally car but since it wasn't about speed, he won.
