While getting the car i contemplated weather or not i wanted fog lights..
The dealer wanted $500 more if i added to the car. I have a base model btw.
Ordering was going to cost about $376... They wanted $145(what a scam..) to install it for me. Decided to put them on by myself.. Took me like 30 mins. saved some money!
Also got an ezlip for the scrapes..
Here's a quick pic

how was the install for the fog lights? I looked at the install guide... seems like you have to take the bumper off?

You dont actually have to, but it's easier.
You can just take the clips off the bottom and stick your hands behind the bumper to pop off the cover. I recommend just taking the bumper off. Makes everything easier to see and work with.
Also dont forget to adjust the fog lights. When you first install them, (at least for me) they're pointed too low. There's a phillips head screw to adjust it.

I see you have a SWP WRX as well, how do you like it? (:

I think it's funny to watch people correct tint for tints. I get it and all but I think it's just like "rims", you'll never be able to correct what people grew up on.

Seriously, but its about what I'm doing to the car... not about how to say something

Update.. Attempted to do overlays... when they said that the taillight was going to be hard i didn't think it was going too be THAT hard.. After a LONG day i go everything on.. but part of the taillights.. after an hour working on the they ripped and i just tossed it on the floor.
The fog lights were a piece of cake.
Whatever was left looked okay. Going to get them painted instead
Removed the easy lip.. was falling off a bit.

Tail Light + Third Brake Lights

The Part that ripped..

When I Raged.. These were suppose to go on the sides.. Never again will i do this.. takes too dam long and it doesn't come out perfect..
You can try this but, i'd reccommend someone with a lot of experience. They also said it wouldn't rip. Installed my friends EZ Lip.. looks pretty dam good. Its that civic in the background in the previous pictures
Use to be a civic guy myself.

I'm afraid of it not turning out how i want them to. What paint did you use? Did you use a gloss coat? I was thinking about coating it with nite shades. They don't look glossy and look like a flat color, so i thought it be better to add a glossy clear coat over it. What do you think?
