Default interminante no start issue just clicks once

so my car randomly decides not to start and clicks once, checked and made sure the solenoid was getting power when you turn the key on and it was, no lights in the vehicle are dim in the slightest, I cleaned all the grounds and tightened the battery terminals and put a new starter in it. That fixed it for a week and a half, then the same issue occurred, re cleaned all grounds but found that the slide on power wire for the solenoid was dirty and seems to slide off very easily, can I cut that terminal off and splice a new slide on terminal on that fits tighter, or should I look somewhere else. the car started fine this morning

Yes put a new end on the signal wire. Should fix your problem. Be sure to do a proper battery test first though..
