THE greatest car EVER made. Any car nut must watch this. The interview is even awesome.

Would like to have seen more racing and less drifting of the F40 though.

I think the F40 drifting just shows the incredible balance of the car, especially given the weight, engine config, turbos, height, and stiffness - driving skill doesn't hurt either, but he really seemed relaxed - power and finesse - old school prancing horse. Need one.

Great video, and once again a great narrative by Chris.

Fun video to see. F40 is still the best.

Awesome video, absolutely awesome cars.
That F40 was a poster on my wall as a kid and I still love it today.

Definitely makes me think about the direction of supercars in the modern market. Sort of makes me feel like most supercar owners are doing it to get ladies more than to get a driving experience. I mean, the manufacturers are catering to what the majority of the buyers want and compared to cars like the F40 it seems like most people want them to be just as fast but much, MUCH, easier to drive.

Kinda sad that the day of cars like the F40 seems to be over.
Now it's all paddles and launch control. :indifferent:

Great find, thanks for the link!

What, no lap times? My kids were glued to the screen entertained by Chris' childish antics and tire smoking drifting red race car.

Yeah, it's pretty hideous. It is nice to be reminded that Ferrari is not new to making ugly cars, given their recent offerings.

I remember trying to convince my father to sell all the assets my parents had to purchase the F40. It's been 24 years, I still think my recommendation was the correct one. We could have lived in a tent and people would have paid us to park the car in their garage.

Dual cook surfaces via turbines. Rig back wheels up to a homemade washing machine and dryer. Cook your food and do your laundry at 9 mpg. WIN!

When does it stop being called a detail and start being called a partial restoration?
