Default Anyone running KillerB coolant/washer tank?

Hi Folks,

Anyone using this: http://www.killerbmotorsport.com/ind...dReservoir.htm

I'm used to the factory tank which only has a hose going through the top, and this has openings both top and bottom. What I think they are saying is, get threaded nipple to fit both top and bottom, with bottom routing to the radiator hose that WAS going to the top opening of the factory tank (of course longer), and get a shorter hose to mount to the top, 90 degree elbow would make sense, and route it downward so any overflow will spill to the ground. Yes?

Also, how do you know fill level? The factory tank has marks for cold and hot levels, while this only has a sight tube.

Thanks...would like to install today...if it was a weekday I'd call them...

Okay, so I installed it like I thought. Uses 1/8" NPT with 5/16" barb. Couldn't get a right angle on the top to screw in without hitting the mounting flange, didn't want to cut away anything, so just used a straight fitting. Washer tank was straightforward, just swapped parts.

For level, I just made sure the upper coolant tank was filled close to the neck. I didn't add any to the KillerB tank. After going for a drive, I found like 3" in the KillerB sight tube. I'll give 'em a call tomorrow, but right now I've got it installed and working great!
