Talking I'm tired of Curt getting best times!

Why does he always get the best times no matter what he drives! I think it must be luck.

I refuse to let him beat me at the auto-x. I must prevail!!!

I can beat him if I try real hard. He's just not afraid to tromp on it.

Hey! If I remember correctly, you got the best time in YOUR car even without the NOS. BTW, that was very sneaky of you to run NOS on me without warning me. I thought my car was having problems.

Thanks Bud

I told him I was out of Nitrous and I said I wanted to run him one more time. I nailed it off the line and ran a 14.97 with low bottle pressure... hehe

Fletchers is a chain shop, should be all around the Valley. The shipping for 2 day FedEx from Tirerack in Reno was $44. I got the 4 tires plus shipping for $360. The mount & balance was $48 plus $5 EPA waste disposal. Then the 4 wheel alignment (mine was soo far off it wasn't remotely funny).

In all it was about $475 to get the tires, mount / balance and alignment. Not too bad.

Too late. They're already on my car.

MAN! Did I get RAPED at Discount Tire. It cost me almost $90 to get them mounted, & balanced. I think they just lost a customer. I'll buy my next set from someone else. Oh well, at least I got the road hazard warranty transferred to my name. (I wonder if they have an autocross warranty?)

-Red

BTW: I don't recommend the A520's to anyone else. They're WAY too loud for daily driving and VERY darty. Yuch! I'm gonna' have to tear them up at the autocross and get AVS sports or something.

You know, I'm very happy with the tire buying experience I had with Tirerack.com recently and with the installation / alignment that was done by Fletchers. Got my SVX-T a nice set of Kuhno 712's and installed / aligned on a Friday afternoon at 4pm.

They were really nice to me and I will be going back to have my Impreza done.

Question

Kastle,

I was concerned about the cost of shipping + mounting, but after this experience I may go that route next time. How much was shipping and how much did Fletcher's charge to mount & balance them? Oh, and where is Fletchers?
