Update 12/27/13

*****Quickest 4 Cylinder 6MT Manual Subaru in the World*****

This past weekend we took the RSTi back to the track to see if we could break into the 8s

1st pass off the trailer. 8.96@163 on DOT tires as well (Video to follow shortly)
New world record

This was on the same setup as our maiden 9.1 pass two weeks earlier.

This was STM's first attempt at a drag Subaru ever. We were primarily known for Evos and DSMs. Now including the Subaru and GTR platforms.

The dyno graph yielded 715 HP and 542 TQ. Don't worry, we are not done yet, so stay tuned for more track days before the season ends!

All of us at STM would like to give Ben a huge thank you for trusting his Subaru project in the hands of a Mitsubishi shop! It is awesome to be part of your project, Ben, and an even greater honor to have you on our team!

Looks like this time puts you at 4th on the fastest 2012 Subaru list! congrats, Ben!!!

YOUTUBE VIDEO OF 9.1 PASS!

Apparently the MPH was too much... the time slips were dated in the future! Which is annoying, but everyone is obviously free to call the track to verify. I don't know what they did to the computer in the tower.

I think with better driving it will go 8.60's with the 6mt. We have a few more things to change to before we head back but I really do not see 8's being an issue.
