Yeah it sure looks like you have things covered with your build! It's just a well done well balanced build and it's proving it's worth along with your driving!!

You should be able to pick up at least another 10th with a good 60'. How big of a diameter can you fit in those fenders? Do you think a 27" slick will fit, I'll sure those will help on the launch.

my buddy does 1.3s with the qtps on his 1g. you should be able to do the same with tire pressure and ramping boost. you guys ever tried the magnus launch control device? might help with keeping things consistent and help get those 60ft down. just a thought.

Didn't know someone finally brought it to market. Reminds me very much of what clutch masters, IIRC, was running in their cars back in 06.

do you have a build thread somewhere? I'm interested to see how far you went with weight reduction to get to 2000 lbs.

also, AFP has gone 8's on a 6mt....but I'm not exactly sure at what point they added the sequential to it.

Indeed I do.
The last 4 motors and full builds I did myself on the kitchen table and at my home garage. Had mixed results. But the 5th setup was pure STM except for the heads.
If you're interested and have 10hrs+ look through my 1100post+ thread on rs25.com
http://www.rs25.com/forums/f145/t865...al-subaru.html

Also, I factored Andy Forest's (AFP) car into the list.
He want 8.87 on the 5 speed and 8.20 on the 6 speed manual. Both on the 6 cylinder motor. Andy sold the 4cyl before he had a 6sp. They're still on the 6sp currently because they use the car for sprints (circuit) racing.

The list of congratulations that have been in order for Mr. Ben Marcus have just been piling up... Let's add one more accomplishment to the top. This month's DSPORT Magazine has a full feature on Ben's STM-Built Drag GC8 "Mitsu Shop Builds 8-Sec Subie!"

Who would have known?

On news stands NOW!

Just a small update regarding next season.

Rigoli motor is in the process of being built.
New turbo is in the works as well. Looking at a 72mm potentially.
Picked up a set of Volk TE37SL Black 15x8

Next season should be interesting.
Hopefully some mid to bottom 8s are in our future
