There are many on LI. However, the only guy I'd let tune my car is Dave Brown of Performance Auto Solutions in Deer Park. Great guy.

Dave is good, Junior is at Tach Motor Works who is great as well. Both are great tuners and probably the biggest names on the Island.

There's a guy John at MR performance who's good. He also does open source tunes if you aren't running with an AP.

Well IMO as Jean, Greg, and Ivan said +123 Dave Brown @ PAS/Metic is the man. Dave is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet. Dave is also one of the best tuners you will ever meet.

Give Adam at Performance Auto Solutions a call and as a few questions. Tell him Ian sent you...

Not me personally, but quite a few people. SMY's old car was built there. In my opinion, its a great shop with amazing reviews but... pricey and quite busy . Up to you. Can't go wrong with them. Peformamce Auto Solutions is a Subaru specialty shop though...

PAS is the only place i have used since 2007. Dave tuned my 07 STi stock turbo back when I bought it new and made 300hp/360 Wtq. Car ran perfectly for 85k miles with not a single repair needed until I traded for my 11 which is closing in on 40k miles making 350wtq on 93 and almost 400 on E85 no issues. What really impressed me is when he was tuning my car (19 psi) he said he could push it more if I wanted but if it was his car he would just leave it because its not about just making high numbers. Thats good business.
