Except... if you measured... your 9" wheels are actually 10" wide from edge to edge... So yeah. That's a lot of stretch.

Generally, 255 is proper fitment for no stretch on a 9" wheel. I run 245s and have a slight stretch.

I'm speaking generally here. Talking standard sized tires.

But even with the "omgtehsuperwidez" tires you nut swingers get all wet over, 215 will STILL be quite stretched on the 9" wheel.

OP, stop with the "math". Like I said. A 9" wheel doesn't measure 9" from edge to edge. It's from the inside of the bead. Edge to edge is closer to 10".

That's super aggressive esp for a 08 without the wide body. I think even if you get -2.0+ camber and roll/cut/pull you'll still hit the fender once you go over a bump anyways. Might work if you don't lower it?

I personally researched many times before pulling the trigger on my setup to make sure it wouldn't rub under any situations.

Bottom line : won't fit, get different wheels. IMO.

Yeah, you're going to need to pull, run about 2.7-3* camber to get those wheels to fit properly. Even then, you'll likely need to cut and have a custom flare done to get them to fit properly, and I'd imagine that they aren't the most high quality wheels, so why bother.

Why on earth didn't you get a better offset?

Also FWIW I run a 265 on my 18x9 and they are solid, a 215 is a **** load of stretch, if you think it's not that's why you're having problems. You'll be lucky if you don't pop a bead.

This is just silly. Work harder and a remotely proper tire will work.
