Default 2002 Wrx: Temp gauge wont work HELP!!!

Ok so temp gauge is not working(the one next to fuel gauge), is there any way to fix this or do I need to replace the instrument panel altogether. I rather try to fix it or get it repaired rather than having to deal with a cluster that doesn't have original mileage from vehicle...any help?

Try the little things first, then work big.
