I was naive enough to think that, at least at the power level it failed at.

Man. This sucks.

H6?

Or fuxk it and build a turbo LSX And put it in a ford to really piss people off, and make some big power.

Then again, a h6 would also make good ass power too.

Rex....If you are seriously considering going again call Joe at ASF Machine and talk to him about the H6 he has built....He had some really good conversations with Andy Forrest from across the pond and it is going to be a MONSTER!!!!!

It will be my next step after I get my current contraption finished....

kiss man........seriously. no reason for you to take another hit mentally and financially lol when you can put together a basic setup. It doesnt need to give ppl a hard on with special parts, it should do that with the numbers.

If I do this again, that is the plan. Right now I am just trying to see straight after that crap in my other thread.

I don't know as it is top secret, haha. It is a bit of a deviation from KISS, I admit, but I am convinced it is the route to take.

Basically just waiting on pistons, rods, and crank to put in a sleeved case.

Doing custom pauter rods, custom JE pistons, and crank modified for Chevy bearings.

The rods are a bit interesting - when I told Pauter the kind of power I was shooting for they said the X beams would take it but they would like to make something a little bit stronger to give some leeway and growth. So they are making one of their 2jz rods to subaru specs then adding:
+2mm length
24 or 25mm (I can't remember exactly) small end width
CA625+ rod bolts
The oil slits on the side of the big end
And making the big end for the chevy bearing

The JE pistons are going to be 4" again, down to 9:1, coated, anodized ring seats, the same silly rings as before, and have the bottom opened a tad for the wider rod.

The rods are done and Pauter should be finishing the crank and shipping both soon. I ordered the pistons a while ago and they should be nearing completion as well.

That's about all I have right now.

Did you salvage the Cosi crank and then having Pauter mod it for the new rods and bigger Chevy rod bearings?
