My car was in the garage and I think my dad must have dropped something that slid against the car. The scratch is not deep at all but it runs from the gas tank door down to the bottom-left of the car; so it runs a good 1.5 - 2 feet.
I was wondering is there a place I could go and get this done for a minimal cost? (I live in the chicagoland area). I have no experience with buffers or waxing to remove scratches. I'm sure it's not too tough, but I want to make sure this looks professionally done. Any advice or suggestions of places that could hook me up? Thanks! - Martin

Your local detail shop or dent and scratch shops are good places.

be careful with the rubbing compound, don't use anything too abrasive.

without pics I cant help you..
with a pic I could give youa proper diagnosis and what to do with it. Imho, dont bust out the rubbing compound right now. You risk the chance of destroying your clearcoat all around the scratch area. If you give me some pics then ill see what I can tell ya. Bryan |

Great, I'll take some pics then (probably post them Thursday night).
Thanks for your help. - Martin |
