Cool

It was alot of fun out there. Some great performances today, pretty tight times over all. The conditions were tough, especially early on.

Really appreciate the hardcore contingent who came out to run the last event of the autocross season…and all those who stopped by, even if they weren't competing.

Hats off as well to the Porsche Club…who fed us HOT PIZZA and Sodas. We have such a great group of people who volunteer their time to make motorsports happen up here. It truly has been a golden age of Autocross these last 4 years. Spectacular compared to what it used to be.

I enjoyed everyone this season, very much. I am so thankful and proud of the skills I have been able to acquire up here. Even though our tracks are quite limited, our conditions are often wretched, the racing and competition is fierce. There are some very talented young and old drivers coming up the ranks. There are some established vets, in very fast cars, that make climbing the ladder seem impossible…but keep the faith, keep showing up, doing your best, with what you have. Eventually, you will develop a set of skills and race craft that will allow you to come into your own. We all start somewhere.

Congrats to the winners.

God bless you all.

This was definitely a life changing year. Everyone here in AKIC has been so dope and nice to me. Big shout out to Chanomatik. A large gesture like loaning a fellow member expensive wheels inspired me to become more aquatinted with the car scene here. It has allowed me to meet with new people, ride in the fastest cars I have ever been in in my life. I'm also able to reach out and plan cruises which honestly is the most interesting thing I've done all year. Also a shout out to bjcarter. I was sidelining just trying to figure out what to do at autocross, Schooled me on the basics and even took me on a ride along. It opened doors that I never thought I would be able to open. Without getting too personal; Becoming a member of AKIC and finding a new hobby has turned my life around for the better thank you all to those who have helped me from the bottom of my heart.
