RS-T is ready.

Well I am off to Prescott Valley to pick up the RS-T. I have been told it "runs like a raped ape" which I am assuming is good

I will come by the test & tune tomorrow, but I can't race as I need to be somewhat kind to the car while brakeing in the turbo.

I will post more info when I actually get to drive the car

It's really loud. I know this because I went up with Aaron and dropped off the SVX-T for some work.

My ears are still ringing. There was no muffler at all.

Yes it is far to loud to be driving on the street. The exhaust ends right after the second cat. The stock exhaust won't bolt up to the new pipes, so I need to get a shop to make me a 2.5" or 3" cat-back. I don't think anywhere is open tomorrow, so I will probably end up trying to get it Monday or Tuesday.

I probably won't be bringing it tomorrow as I don't want to drive across town in it in this condition. My ears were ringing for a LONG time after bringing it home from Prescott. Not to mention the attention I would be getting from the police if they heard it.

Impressions:
Install quality looks very good. Cruise control was relocated, some of the power steering lines had to be bent out of the way for the turbo. The Vortech RRFPR isn't in yet, but I haven't noticed any problems with not having it installed yet. Not that I could hear it pinging or even detonation as loud as it is.

I finished up the wiring of the guages and MAP voltage clamp tonight. I haven't made the mounting plate for the guages yet, so they are kind of rigged together in the guage pod housing, but they work.

I did get a MAP related check engine light when I gunned it in 5th gear of the way home from Robert's. I was then limited to 2 psi

So I wired in the voltage clamp and reset the ECU. So far no check engine light, but I only ran it through the first few gears.

You can really hear the whoosh of the BOV. You can hear the turbo spooling, but it is muffled by the exhaust noise right now.

After driving it a bit more I have determined it is fast. I am running about 3.5 - 4 psi right now. I keep hitting the rev limiter as I don't expect it to accelerate that quickly. That will take some getting used to. First and second go by pretty fast, I wish I had taller gears now.

The stock clutch seems to be holding for now. I have the ACT clutch in my garage so I am ready for when the stock clutch gives up.

How fast is it? I am not sure, as I really haven't romped on it yet. I don't think I will have a hard time beating the fastest NA Impreza time Curt posted, the Eric's juicing RS should be a closer time slip. I am guessing even in its untuned state it would still pull 14's.

The amazing thing is that other than the MAP related CE light, I am not throwing any emissions related O2 lights. My guess is that I would pass emissions with no problem.

I took a few pictures and will be posting them shortly.

Did I mention it was loud?

Not sure if I am going. I can't race the RS since I am breaking in the turbo and it is way to loud (as mentioned above)

If I go it will be to offer moral support and we will cruise down in the Forester.
