I would definitely be a buyer for this wing - carbon center. What happened to blacktop aero?

RavSpec/GTSpec is the contact for Blacktop Aero line of parts I believe

You'd want to get in touch with Mark @ Ravspec who is a vendor on here for Blacktop Aero, or via their website

I've only seen them on wide bodies, so if it fits the narrow ones... that's great! more people can buy it

Same. I didn't have to modify anything to fit mine. Unless you want to say swapping over the washer sprayer is a mod.

Not a fan of the sedan spoiler. Hatches also get the rear underspoiler/diffuser which is completely awesome... Sedans don't get one that doesn't look completely ridiculous imo...

Hatch:

Sedan:

^ Honestly this one isn't half bad... just ridiculously expensive...

Idk, in my humble opinion the hatch diffuser flows better with the body of the car. The HTAutos diffuser is very popular, but I think it's too big, too "in your face", it almost makes the exhaust look smaller. Pretty sure the last picture is the Q300... If you can't get your tips centered I think any diffuser would look like crap, but I think it would be a little more obvious with this one.

The first sedan images I linked are from a company called Liberal.

Of course my preferences are completely regarding aesthetics... I can't speak toward performance on any of these.

Do you still have it? can you take a picture of it? i was discussing it with the manufacturing people and they said there might need to be some drilling for added support. We're trying to get a hold of a local for making the mold.. but before that can be done we need to know exactly what kind of demand is out there.

everywhere I look people are discussing that they've tried pretty hard to find one of these spoilers. there's definitely a large market for it.

I hope you're posting this on iwsti, clubwrx, iclub, etc. There should be a decent amount of demand especially without drilling.

From the ones I have seen, both an ebay knock off and a black top aero to an authentic Varis one, there was no trunk drilling.

The black top aero and ebay knock off had issues with cracking and splitting of the wing near the mount point to the base of the wing. Not sure if they fixed that or not. The varis one I have no idea if there was cracking issues because it was shipped out.

That is why additional drilling may be needed for added support.

I disagree, it just mounts just as the stock wing does and more or less just lays down the side of the hatch. You have to realize there's always a difference in quality versus knock offs, but I really don't think anyone would want to drill more places to mount the wing.

Also if you were gonna add mounting points further down your on top of the glass. There's really no other way to add more.

I'd go from a 'definite' buyer to a '... maybe' buyer with drilling required.
