Hey guys, I thought I'd post up a couple of pictures of the gauges installed. I had them installed by 2phless (board member from NC) and according to him, the installation was smooth and problem free. As you can see, the gauges look great! I'm quite happy.

Defi triple pod w/EGT, boost, and oil temp....
![]() Water temp mounted in vent and oil press. in Defi cup w/visor.... ![]() Not the best shot, but here's where I have the SMC LED's wired into the cluster....you can see the green (armed) and yellow (spraying) LED's lit as I hit the test button while shooting. The larger red LED to the right signals low alc/water mix. ![]() Last edited by mindchatter; 02-11-2006 at 06:12 PM. |

I already have a boost gauge in a single-pod on the pillar, but was thinking about adding an oil pressure and oil temp gauge in the locations shown. Has anybody seen this or tried it?

I've seen it, but haven't tried it. If I put in more gauges, they'll be in cups above the clock pod.

I thought about that, but decided that it's not really where I want to put them. I haven't seen many with the gauges right on the dash there and thought it would look pretty nice, plus they are right there in front of me.

Boost controller
Map based Boost gauge-very accurate especially at high altitude. EGT RPM Knock AFR's TPS Injector pulse-optional All the gauges above have logging Keep the clock Out of site when not using Matches the stock STI aluminum gear surround. ![]() Last edited by Wombat North; 02-13-2006 at 03:52 PM. Wombat, that's awesome. Nicely done.
Anyone with an '06 put a pod where the clock is? If so, how difficult was re-wiring or hiding the passenger side airbag light and electronics? |

I'm looking for the farthest from riceyness as possible as not to have disapproval from the wife... it looks like the gauge bezel is the "cleanest" option. No Apillar, triple, or vent pods for me.

Thanks that's great, and itt gives me some more options for how to spend my money(like I need more options). I've got a couple now, I am going to get the Autometer Bezel with boost and something (AFR? EGT?) Then either a PSI3, disassemble it and mount the display like this guy did with his TurboTimer or what you did, which may be cost effective. |
