Cool Results from today at the Auto-x

Well, all in all I would say that I had a better time today at the auto-x than the last one. I think because of the fact that we got 4 runs, thanks in part to the reduced number of entries.
Bud and I stayed after and talked with Bill Barfoot more about the upcoming rally-x, and the possibility (sp?) of organizing a TSD here also. So that is pretty exciting.
Here is a picture of Bud having fun in his time only.
BTW, I turned a fastest time of 36.48.

I will see if I can post some more in a while.

Mike

Cool

My fastest time was 35.8 or something like that, but I did that during the last time-only run (while I was goofing off trying to do a hand-break turn). The fastest one that counted was 35.900 on my third try. It was good enough to get me a 908 pax score, which is the first time I've gotten 900+ PAX points. I think fast time of the day was in the high 31's. (Set by a modified lotus, a trailer queen I believe.)

I Still need to shave a 1/2 second more if I'm going to beat that darn Honda. I made mistake, braking a little too late into the hair-pin on my last run, and my time slid back up above 36s.

Hmmm... let's start a Bud-needs-a-lightened-flywheel fund.

[Edit, remembered the time more accurately.]

I thought what Bud needed was some adjustable camber plates.
While we are at it, lets start a "Help Mike Get Some Tires Fund."

Oh yeah! I need those too!

That's the ticket. Bud and Mike need car toys, so you guys all give us money. OK?
