I was there on Sunday. I saw 3 WRXs run. 2 were in the 14s and n2ox3wrx ran 13.0x at 104.x because of major wheelspin at the starting line.

On the pro racers side, NJ's own Bullish Racing Solaras stole the show with each car making passes under 7 seconds to become the first imports to make sub 7 second passes.

My RS ran in the 13s. 13.934 to be exact. I'm happy. Also did anyone spot the silver WRX with ALTEZZAS an a BOV running 14.5? Nice guy and all but... I don't know. Oh well. Later

i thought the AEM civic was running high 6's/low 7's from the beginning of the season. i thought they were the first import to run sub 7's since last season breaking 8's was a big deal

I was there - MAN - they really hooked up that track great for the day - it was stickey as can be

I was running very easy on low boost a full interior and mostly pump gas just trying to get some consistant runs down to try and win in eliminations - (I red lighted in the 1st round when I drew a honda drag car and got nervous looking at his giant slicks and gutted interior)

My best run for the day was a 12.6 at 110.00 with a 1.74 60' - - not my best - but not bad considering I was hot lapping it and was running the full interior a/c and normal tire pressure and my basic street tune map on the link and NO NOS this time

My goal is 11.99 without NOS - but that will require some time tunning the link to run strong on race fuel without NOS and setting up my fuel pressure and some other things

HEy - BTW - did any of you all see that Top fuel dragster run about 8:30 p.m. on saturday - they were just there testing - - but I tell you - that was an amazing thing to see - that power was beyond description !

No, that's Papadakis and he's in a different class. Anyway, he's been in the 8s all year. The Solaras are in the highest import class and both ran record times on Sunday. It was amazing!

Al.....

You should come up to the import event at New England Dragway on the 12th. They won't kick you out until you hit 11.5!

I second that! Being that I'm in Rhode Island (Temporarily), I'm looking to head up that way this weekend. Mapquest said only 2.5 Hours... Hmmm. C'mon Al, let's run

Ryan

11's still possible this year?

I was there Saturday. I agree with Al about the Top Fuel Dragster, the whole stadium shook when it went down the 1320. Saturday, I think there were atleast 5 wrxes run including myself.
