Talking Solo II

I just got the preliminary results for Novice 2. It looks like I will place 3rd in that catagory. That was SOOOOOO fun. I hope more of the AZ club will run next year. I won't be here, but Bud (Red-Imp) would be more than happy to have more people stomp his A$$ into the ground. And no Bud, I do not know where you placed yet. I will ask though.

Wink

You're more then welcome to stick around and see if you can beat me in the next season, bub.

BTW: I'm currently using a wireless network demo from the Ottowa airport. This is pretty cool.

Later,

Question

Are the dates set for next year? I work most Sundays, so I would need to take the day off in order to run.

If anyone knows the dates let me know.

Thanks,

Aaron

Cool

Well, I'm back in the states. It's good to be home.

Kastle,

I really don't think autocrossing is that hard on your car. (OK, it'll wear your tires a lot faster then normal, but I don't think it's that bad on the car itself.) How do you expect your baby to grow up big and strong if you don't get it a little exercise.

Aaron (et. al.),

Here's the AZ Region SCCA 2001 schedule from the November-December Pylon Press:

All events are on Sundays at Firebird Raceway skidpad #4 (Bondurant skidpad) unless otherwise noted.

Jan 21 - Practice Day ($30)
Feb 11 - Spring Series Event 1
Feb 24 - (Sat) 2-day divisional
Feb 25
Mar 04 - Spring Series Event 2
Apr 08 - Spring Series Event 3
May 06 - Spring Series Event 4

Jun 09 - (Sat Eve) Summer Series Event 1
Jul 14 - (Sat Eve) Summer Series Event 2
Aug 11 - (Sat Eve) Summer Series Event 3

Sep 02 - Fall Series Event 1
Oct 07 - Fall Series Event 2
Nov 11 - Fall Series Event 3
Dec 01 - (Sat) Drivers School
Dec 02 - Fall Series Event 4

Keep an eye on Brandon Smith's web site for more details.
