Default Stage 2 Datalog from Dragway

Hey guys, I did a datalog after a few runs at the dragway. I decided to take a log because I was not hitting target boost anymore. Usually when driving on the highway I hit anywhere from 18.5-19.4. Im struggling just to hit 17 at the track. I also suspect that my tune is garbage.

Car is a 2013 WRX with a Cobb SF Intake, Invidia Divorced catless downpipe and nameless axleback. (Cobb Stage 2 OTS map)

Tune is garbage for sure. You showing multiple knock events, and your DAM is off.

Get a pro tune. I'm dealing with stimikey right now for an e-tune and so far I'm getting great results.

You might have a crappy tank of gas...you DAM is off and not constant and your knock levels are high too.

How long ago did you flash it? You didn't just flash it seconds before your run right?

No its been flashed for a month or so. And my gas was on E.... Gas light on.

After I left the dragway my DAM was at a constant .6

My first 2 times were 12.9 every run after that was a 13.1 - 13.3 (log is from a 13.1 run)

Cobb Stage 2 map is not designed to run with a catless downpipe, its stated clearly in the map notes... so calling the tune garbage seems silly when you aren't following the map notes.

The car definitely wasn't happy during that run.

The FBKC at lines 30, 39, and 52 are the result of the hard shift (somewhat common on a drag run). The FLKC at lines 50 - 52 that then drops the DAM is a bit concerning. It's possible that the TMIC was heat soaked from sitting in line. As you got going, the air flow across the TMIC increased and dropped your boosted air temps and the car was more happy. Just a guess at what happened.

You could try stepping down one octane in mapping (93 map -> 91 map or 91 map -> ACN91) or you could try adding a couple gallons of race gas next time you are at the strip as a safety buffer.

Do you have any logs of a 3rd gear pull on the street? I'd be interested to see if the car is still unhappy or if it was just mad at the strip.

Theres also an option in the ap to reduce timing up to 5degrees to account for bad gas. Drop it a degree or two and watch for the knock events around 5krpm

I can't access the log. You need to change the setting on that file to "anyone who has the link can view". Or just post the actual .csv file from the AP in this thread.

If you have an upgraded 3-port boost control solenoid, you need to look into a custom map. That is not a modification that is supported by the Stage2 mapping and will cause your car to radically over boost if it is not tuned for appropriately.

You might want to invest in a good wideband to verify your AFR's. You may be leaning out up top.

Are you running the off-the-shelf Stage2 mapping or do you have a custom tune? The wastegate duty cycles in that log don't quite line up with our Stage2 mapping.

That initial boost spike to 22 psi and timing corrections from 5800 - 6800 RPM are not good. I would not recommend running the car aggressively until you get those issues sorted out.
