Thumbs up new subaru owner

Hi everyone. I am now the owner of a 2001 rs. I have been to one of the meetings you guys had here in prescott, but that was before I had a subaru. Now that I have one I am looking forward to taking part in some club events and gatherings, and maybe getting some help doing some mods.

Welcome to the club!! We are glad to have more members.
If your interested in meeting alot of us, we will be at Firebird Raceway on Friday night, I know that is a long way to go, but you might have plans already to be in town. We are also going to the auto-x on the 11th of Feb. It is an all day event and we should have a couple of Scoobies there. Hope to see you there.

Welcone aboard, always good to have another Prescott Subie fanatic. Robert closed the Prescott garage and is tuning Subaru's out of his place in Dewey. He's turbocharged several Subaru's and can help you out when your ready to start tuning!

It only cost $25 dollars if you wait till the day of to register, but if you pre-register at Autocrossing.com you will have to pay only 20 dollars. It is the 11th, at Firebird, just go to entrance #3, you will see everyone.
No special car prep, just take out your floor mats and anything loose that can fly around in the car and your in. You will need a helmet, although they have loaners for you. Also there will basically be 2 auto-x's that day, One in the AM, and one in the PM, the PM starts at about 11:30 I think? I always just show up around 10:00 am. The morning group is really early, like 7:00 or something. Forget that noise.

Am I forgetting anything guys?

I hope we see you out there. It's a lot of fun. It's one of the best ways to really learn how your car handles in a safe and controlled environment. It'll really make you appreciat the Impreza.

Sounds good. Barring any unforseen circumstances I will deffinately be there. Correct me if I am wrong, but I am assuming that the $20 fee will allow you to enter only one of the two races. Also, are you allowed to have a passenger in your car?

You are correct about only entering one of the 2 events, I mean, its 1 event, but an afternoon and a morning group. So you can only enter 1 group.
Yes, you can have a passenger, they have to wear a helmet also.

Thumbs up

Just a note: You get three runs in the event and they may have "time only" runs in the afternoon if there's time. That's another three runs (and usually another $10), but they don't count towards your PAX score (if you care about that).
