Default Initial D arcade machines in Nor Cal

It'll be at Sunnyvale Golfland and Milpitas Golfland TODAY. Then the machines will be added to the Castro Valley Golfland and Roseville Golfland TOMORROW. So, you Initial D fans, go get your drift on.

I dunno how much it is to play nor do I know how much it costs for each data card. I assume it's a buck a game and the data card to save all your mods, your car, and your name is another buck. I'm gonna go there this weekend. We HAVE to get an i-club.com meet and raid an Initial D machine. This'll be fun!

BTW, this is the US machine, so the Japanese data cards won't work, well, for those of you who already played it at Arcade Infinity in So Cal. Some of the machines that are here today won't have working memory cards due to some shipment issue, but they'll be up and running within the next few days. The US version still has Super Eurobeat music.

I got all this info from a video game message board and the guy in charge of the Golfland arcades posted this.

Kind of off topic but I have one of these for sale. New it cost around 2-3 grand. I got it from the company that I use to work for, they upgraded to a better model. Its made by Interactive I\O and is Way better than anything on the market. The pictures do not do this thing justice. It works perfect, just like an arcade. It works with windows and uses a standard joystick driver. Im local so I could set up a demo if someone was serious about it.

Just got back from SV Golfland, and yeah..the game is almost the exact copy of the Japanese version, only difference is that its in English! Even the shifter is still on the left side. Oh yeah, the card works. My STi has already a upgraded muffler and some nice wheels.

Heres a pic of the card:

Dan and I just finished playing it a little, and getting our cards for tonight...

My call sign is BUNTA and im driving a blue GC8 STI

I got 4 runs in, one against dan... Got only one upgrade though, i lost to that red FG6 Civic!!!

FUN game though, sooo easy to drift! The akina course is neat too...

But with the shifter on the left hand side, i opted for the auto... works fine.
