Default 02 WRX Shocks and springs question

Post pics of your lowered WRX and tell me what suspension setup you are running. Got a few shock questions. I cant seem to be able to find anyone who makes shocks for the 02 WRX except STI but they cost $$$$, Ive heard that some people were running GC8 shocks on the 02 is this correct? How well does that work and other than the shock is anything else needed? If i decide to just get the springs now and shocks later when there are some available, will the stock shocks handle the springs? And Im leaning towards Whiteline springs any negatice feedback on those springs? Thanks

Are you wanting just a spring shock combo or have you considered coilovers? KYB makes struts as well, and there are tons of spring makers. There have gotta be at elast 12 different coil overs also.

Im not considering coilovers cause, this car will never see a track and will have no need for them. Ive had coilovers on two cars already and the ability to adjust them was nice but i never really needed them.
