Window tint

Anyone in Phoenix ( or surrounding areas ) know of a good window tint company? The dealers wants to do it, but I don't want those idiots touching my car.

Which dealership? I know Aaron has dealt with an aftermarket shop to do his SVX prior to selling it to KevinL. Send Aaron a PM if he doesn't respond here....

The dealer is Thomas Motors. They are to hard to deal with and honestly I do not trust them to do anything including window tinting.

I recommend Quality Bumper in Mesa. I have had them do my cars and they do very good work. They also use one of the best films available (Formula one). I don't know the number.

You can see their handywork on my RS if you make it to any of the meets. They pretty did good work, including doing the rear window in one piece for me. There are a few tiny bubbles if you look close, but they'd probably redo those windows if I took it back to them.

However, I have one warning. They're not cheap. (Unless you've got a bunch of really good friends who get together and buy you a really nice birthday present.

You can call Bell Window Tinting and ask for Bob. The has done my past 6 cars and has always done a great job...and on top of that he warranties his work and will go as dark as you want with the tint. He did all my cars with all the windows tinted(Except the front that's expensive) each for $100-$150. Call him at 602.430.0544 if you want...he will also come out to you and install it wherever you are....ie at work! Hope this helps!

I have had many a car tinted at Danny's Family (I think that is the name, it used to be the Carwash plex) at 51st Ave and Bell Road. They guy there is cool and he does very nice work. He has recently done my RS and my (now KevinL's) SVX. Although he said he would never do anthoer SVX too difficult he said. It took him like 7 hours non-stop

That is where I am going to take our Forester to get it done in a few weeks.
