Talking What should I pay?

Really want to be one of the RS boys after test driving an '01 RS sedan the other day. Was set to buy a Golf GTI (1.8T), but was blown away by the Scooby. Question is - what should I being paying for this '01 4dr with the WRX on its way? Any help greatly appreciated.

The forum is great.

Not sure if you'll be able to knock them down, even with the WRX on it's way. I paid 500 over invoice (19200) for a silver MY01 Coupe - if that helps.

I used to have a Golf GTI in the UK as a company car, and although it was a rollerskate, the scooby is better in sooo many ways.

Oh, and welcome to our rapidly expanding Arizona iclub!

Was that you out at Rural and Baseline on Saturday afternoon?

I wouldn't pay more than $100 over invoice. I got that on my MY00 RS and MY01 Forester without too much hassle. Shoot me an email and I will give you the name and number of the salesman I had. He was laid back and easy to work with.

Good choice on cars.

I got mine for $400 over invoice from Pitre on Mcdowell. It was a very easy process...

$400 over invoice is about where you want to be.
