Actually, most car pool lane violations are pretty iron clad. If you jumped into the car pool lane during restricted hours, then its 99.9% impossible to get out of.

Sorry to bring you down. Next time, if you aren't in a hurry (ie a minute extra commute time won't matter) then drop into the middle lane until the dump truck is far ahead. Your paint, and your wallet, will thank you.

I agree, just avoid those situations altogether. Drop back, and change lanes.
That really sucks though, sorry.

Angry Unbelievable Cops

I was on my way to school this morning and I was stuck behind a dump truck that was flinging rocks all over my car. So I jumped in the car pool lane to pass him and the bastard sped up so that I couldn't get in front of him. The only spot open was two cars up, but infront of a cop. It was the only thing I could do. There was also many cars coming up fast so I couldn't slow down and get back over. To end my story the cop pulled me over for traveling in the carpool lane and gave me a 365 dollar ticket. Just for padding a damn truck in the carpool. What is up with these cops and the outrageous ticket prices.:mad[/size]
