I need more TIME!

Default Anyone do 6x9s in the doors?

project bugeye work car: trying to get the most bass out of headunit power.... I'm thinkin 6x9s in all 4 doors.

Anyone done it ?

If you must, you will have to build away from the door to fit the depth, then shut the door and hit yourself in the ankles for wayyyyyyyy to much effort that "will sound like crap"
Your best bet is round speakers in the doors, again, if you get a quality 5.25- 6" full range woofer with crossovers and tweeters (shallow as possible) and build the woofer sealed into the door, think mini subwoofer box built into your door. this will maximize the bass of the speakers, but again, for me, this is far to much effort to plug everything into a head unit. doors are terrible for holding bass, unless you seal the mounting area off. find some reading, maximizing bass is about moving the appropriate amount of air for the speaker you are using.
