Default Getting hated on by Maximas?

This past month I've been getting cut off by speeding modified Nissan Maximas. Is there some secret hatred that I don't know about?

They're just mad I turned them down, that's all.

(When I was just window shopping for WRX/STIs, I went to a tent sale where the salesman stared at my chest the whole time and tried his hardest to sell me a Maxima when I told him I couldn't drive stick. Then he tried to sell me a Genesis coupe, because paddle shifters.)

Bring your ego down a bit. You might hit an electric line.

It's a common thing among Maxima drivers. I don't know what it is, but it seems to be my experience too that they are driven like sharp handling sport compacts... Not the full size boats that they are.

My brother had an 06 or 08, I can't remember, super nice car but just not that fun to drive anywhere but in a straight line.

If he's trying to say that MD is crawling with LS swapped Maximas, this is utter bull****.

There are many, many ******** on the road these days with cars that have decent power...I get all types attempting to race or speed up when I have my turning signal on to get over...it's very annoying. I assume they fail to realize that many of the cars around them could out accelerate them and smart drivers simply choose to ignore them. I've had a few sports bikes trying to egg on a race recently...I don't know who falls for this stuff, but someone is, thats whey they do it.

No LS swap on a maxima is impossible. 5.7 swap is just a 2010 maxima (7th gen) motor swapped into a 2002-2003 maxima. (5th gen)

5th gen + 7th gen = 5.7 swap

Had we only known that from the beginning.

Yep they have different terminology. I used to own a maxima and hang with a couple but you'd be surprised what a turbo on 8psi does to those motors. Now I own a bugeye

I think this can all be summed up with....

You drive a WRX/STi? Everyone shall hate upon you and subconsciously want to pass you at any given opportunity. Sporty, SUV, work truck, family van.... it matters little what they drive.

In my experience anyways.

5th gen + 7th gen == 12 swap

Either way, 5.7 is the ever notorious 90s small block Chevy, for shame! FOR SHAME!

Knowing this, it at least makes more sense.

Also, I remember the early 350z days... Turbo + VQ35DE == $$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$.

Glad that's changed! ...Kind of.
