Default Like the automotive industry?

We have a ton of open positions here at CARFAX. Take a look at some of the open positions here

Most positions require a 3-5 year experience level and a Bachelors of some kind. The company is great to work for with perks such as great benefits, casual dress and atmosphere (we have a mini two net basketball machine in the lobby), free Friday lunch, etc. etc. The company is located in Fairfax off of Eaton Place (123N exit from 66 and your right there).

PM me your information if your interested and I'll send you my work email address to talk more.

Thanks!

I moved to Nashville for 5 months but now I moved back to Maryland and have been looking for a job for 3 weeks.

Bachelor of Science in Geography Information Systems and Computer Cartography
University of Maryland College Park Date of Graduation: May 2004

Associates of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems: Networking
Prince George’s Community College, Largo, MD Date of Graduation: May 2002

My work experience has been doing GIS work with contractors who produce FEMA FIRM and DFIRM Maps. I have about 1.5 years of work experience.

I worked in the PGCC computer labs for 2 years also so I think I could do entry level tech support or help desk. I love computers and can learn new programs quickly.

Or I am looking for a job in Bowie, MD that I can work at awhile, while looking for a GIS job. (retail or whatever)

Looking for a Mechanical Engineering position anywhere in the Metro area. Really looking to get into Lockheed (Balt. MD) or NASA (Greenbelt, MD). Anyone on here who works there and knows if they are hiring anytime soon? I applied to a bunch of jobs online during the last few months but have not heard anything.

I have exp. in designing and testing automotive valvetrain components. But I am open to any kind of engineering/design or testing position.

This is a great thread and was about to start one under the same topic until i did a search.

Any Program Control people here? If so, give me a PM - my wife works for SAIC & they have ~70 openings in the DC area. I know they're looking at filling all kinds of levels, but are particularly looking for people w/ 5 - 8 years of experience.

Have you considered applying for a job with NGA? Process is quite long-winded, but it's something to try for and wait out for with an interim job.

AlphaInsight had a bunch of contracts with State - especially in Diplomatic Security. Contracts come and go pretty often... fact of life in this area.
