Well, its official - I have the slowest 2.5 RS in AZ. I raced it last night for the first time. My best time was a 16.282. In 5 runs, it varied between 16.485 and 16.282. I thought that since it was my first time, maybe it was a problem with my driving so I let AaronB take it for a run and he got a 16.268. SO.... I have the slowest car. I'm not happy about it either. When I was buying my car, I test drove a white one and it felt much different than the BRP one I ended up getting. My car is a lot rougher than other RS's and the clutch is really weird. Everyone who has driven it has commented on it. I guess I got a Friday or Monday car.

What Chris forgot to mention is that he has 150+ lbs of stereo in the trunk and he made the critical mistake of drag racing on a full tank of gas. I think in proper drag racing trim (empty trunk and 1/4 tank of gas) it would be in the high 15's.
But his clutch is really strange. When you press it down it feels normal until the last inch or two of travel where it feels very strange. Almost like it is hitting smething. You just need a turbo to haul the extra stereo around Chris. ![]() Aaron |

Chris, you need a intake from Larry, Amsoil, and stromung for starters. Then you'd be faster then Eric

I've got an amsoil filter and Larry's intake, although the intake wasn't on because I took it off to have some warranty work done. I'm putting it back on this weekend. I'll probably go to Speedworld Saturday morning and see if I can beat my time from Wednesday with the intake on and less gas in the tank.
