Cool 1st Autocross of the season - this Sunday

I hope I see you all there!

And, I assume you will all be honest about your mods at tech registration.

Mike,

I don't believe you can run with that 18mm rear sway bar in NV2 GS. I have the same bar (FHI replacement) and I'm running NV2 FSP (I'll remove the intake in a heartbeat if I can run GS with the sway bar). Nothing personal, but I will be very annoyed if I get lower raw times and you still place higher because of the PAX adjustment for FSP. (Of course, if you beat my raw times then I'll just have to lick my wounds.)

It's not nice to cheat on your fellow Scooby brothers. Better be sure to ask them about it at tech. (I certainly will.)

They will indeed put you into FSP. Since the 18mm is not available as an option from the factory, it will not be allowed in stock. The 18mm is available as a factory option in Japan an UK only. Regardless of which class you run in, I am sure you will all have fun. Good luck all. I think you should all try the new classes.

I'm signed up in GS N2. All I have is a drop in filter. I took off the ganzflow a while ago and I'll leave it off for this. If I read it correctly, N2 is on street tires.

Well then, if you don't have it on run GS!

It'll make a huge difference in your PAX points. If I were really after a trophy I'd put my stock bar back (I'd probably do well with the new tires). Curt ran GS for one event last year and his PAX score for that event was almost 30 points higher then any of his other scores.

I'm just trying to make sure we all play fair.

Yeah, yeah, I know. You could call me anal, but you'd be grossly understating the fact.

He-He, I'm just giving you a hard time Bud. I will have the bar on for the event, I'm gonna install tomorrow morning. Hope it will make a noticeable difference.
What do you think Bud?
Whoever gets there first also needs to save some spaces for everyone.
Let's get a group photo this time too.

Mike
P.S.- Kastle, you have to go. There will be hookers and firetrucks there.

Personally I think tires make the biggest difference. Just tell Bud it is a stock bar. He is so damned old that his sight is failing. It is also MUCH easier to push his buttons these days.

Have you guys tried the new color thing on your car color? I can't get it to work at all. Trying again. And again. And again

When you update your profile, go to you typed in the color of your car and type in the following.

Example: {color=gray} Silverthorne {/color}

Everywhere there is a { or a } put a [ or a ] I chose gray because it shows up better than silver.

So I installed the 18mm rear swaybar this morning. Haven't really had a chance to see if I could feel a difference. My wife wanted to take the car to work today, so I won't find out until tomorrow if it will make a difference.
I guess that means I need to change from GS to FSP.
Do you still have the Yokohamas on Bud?

Eric, don't forget to air up your tires this time.
