Ah, that's that straight line sorta thing ain't it? Like NASCAR, only missing both turns.

They be gettin' slim. I believe 75/80 has had it's final event and has closed doors for good.

Mach V's shop foreman Mike Gerber will be there running his green S10.
Assuming it holds together, it should be pretty fast.

Had a lot of fun yesterday and definitely going back next year! Saw some nice looking subies in the car show among a ton of other really awesome cars and it cool seeing that lone sti try to qualify in the morning. My buddies and I left a bit early so we didn't get to see all the racing unfold, but I think my favorite was the $15,000 side bet that went down between the S2000 and the Mustang lol. Nothing beats the smell of race gas in the morning.

Damnit I missed this thread!!! I went last year and had a BLAST and this year had to have been twice the amount of people. I have NEVER seen that many people at MIR! I've been into dragracing for awhile now and Dom vs Imp has got to have some of the fastest street cars I've ever seen in my life.

Took me a little over an hour to make it up there on Sunday and another hour just to make it in the gate, the traffic was crazy and I had to park my car by cows

BTW did anyone see the black LOMA kit equipped supercharged Z06 vette?...my god I was in love with that thing. Spoke to the owner a bit. 9.1:1 compression, 93oct 18psi 980rwhp. The supercharger supports up to 28psi but he told me he had no plans to run racegas because it's a "street car." I couldn't help but give him the WTF look...put some racegas in that bitch and open her up!! Also really liked the R33 and Silvia parked side by side.

Not sure, but it was pretty early. I remember they had to get at least a 10.21 just to get in the field and I think his pass was like a 10.69 or something right around that. Here is a picture of it.

Huh I thought that vette had a turbo...but I could be wrong unless he changed it up.
Did he start it up for you? Its one nasty vette.

Ya I remember him running a turbo last year also but I think he was using a big shot of nitrous this year.

The silver Camaro in the 3rd pic is Steve Drummond and that car is a 6.90 car that is tagged and insured.

Drummond Race Cars puts out some sick **** and is right in my back yard lol.

And for those that missed it with their cameras like me.... damnnnnnnit.

Off all 4 wheels riding the parachute to the 330 mark.

Paradise Racing putting it on the roof!

Sal Patel which is another local ended up crashing on Friday and never got to see the car when I got there Sat/Sun. This is another 6 second tagged insured car from across the bay. Built by Drummond Racing also.
