I always put a small GPS logger in the car when I take it to any garage so Ill have evidence if anyone decides to take a joyride. The unit I use is set to wake on motion so it will last about 5 days on a charge.

Yes I know, I was replying to his post, not your reply. Something got messed up and my post ended up quoting your post instead of MtnXfreeride by mistake. Sorry.

I will try my best to make a video to submit. I'm off work from right now until Sunday so in that amount of time I will see if I can put something worthwhile together. I have nobody to help me film, and no way to mount the camera in the car so this is an interesting challenge.

It'll be a lot more impressive if you're driving like a bat out of hell while simultaneously juggling your camera from hand to hand while you shift and steer, double-clutch, and heel-toe, street-racing a 1977 Trans Am (black with t-top), in a school zone, next to a church, through handicapped parking spaces...

Success! In case anybody doesn't see it, turn off adblocker before doing all the entry stuff, otherwise you might not see the shirts page (like what happened to me). Also, you can delete your profile and still re-create one with the same VIN without issue.

Don't worry. You're all not missing out on much. I don't think there's a video I see that's worthy of winning. Unless I missed one or two.

I'm working on my video...just hard to find somewhere in southern cal where I can open her up for a little bit and not get arrested for trespassing and reckless driving! Been there done that!

haha, this is the real difficult task. Locations that won't get you arrested are hard to find.

Send them your VIN.

Upload video of your modified car, and / or you beating the snot out of it.

Try to get warranty coverage in the future.

Absolutely brilliant! Kudos, Subaru!

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have done it if my car was still under warranty. At least they can't take my lifetime seatbelt warranty!!

That was an awesome video, you are definitely going to be 1 of the 5, high tech equipment, nice location, great sound quality ftw and nice driving. That looked like the ken block gymkhana video.

I just can't get the footage I need by myself, I just destroyed $1,800 wheels and tires and got 0 seconds of footage due to camera shake and poor sound quality while doing a 5 mile rally through the woods. Oh well, if I don't get a video together I still had fun trying.

Next time you might want to check out some initial footage before you do the entire 5 miles.

For the future, I will definitely do a short test, that was totally not what I expected after putting the memory card into the computer.

o.z. racing superleggera's were killed, then my enkei rpf1's were put on and I'm pretty sure they are never going to balance properly either.
