Well ladies and gents today started out as innocent as just going into Underground Performance to see what the car could do on the dyno...well it then went into a full on tuning session with Nick at the helm!

First I want to say the car started out putting down 314whp and 317 wtq on a tune that I've had been running for a couple years now, the original tune was done by Dale a friend and tech at Continental,

When it started rolling on the dyno today frankly I was stoked it made over 300whp(had it made 290 I'd have been smiling just as much) , Nick began to get to work on it with a ground up tune and it started at 249whp but that was just the beginning and was making leaps of power after every adjustment. When it cracked 314whp again I thought that might have been it...boy I was wrong lol , Nick made more adjustments and made a pull and so on and so forth till we stopped at the final number for the night....

Now mind you this is a stock block and heads ej205 running a vf39 with the supporting mods and of course meth injection, the final numbers tonight are 330whp and 326wtq!!!

I can't say enough about how awesome Nick and the guys down at Underground are and trust me they will continue to get my business for everything .

Michael

Yes I did work there but frankly that wouldn't have changed my decision to go there

Those are good numbers. I am glad to see someone else giving the 2L some love. Please post the dyno chart of some pulls, I would love to see how the powerband looks on your setup.

Damn! Nice power numbers. I'll have to tell my buddy about this. He's got a similar set-up and probably has power waiting to be discovered.

By the way, was this on the 2wd dyno with a center spool? Or did you test out at P3 on the AWD dyno?

Nice. 330 AWHP. Car is a beast. That's awesome you could pull that much more out with the tune.

Congrats Mike. Showing em how the bug eyes do things!

I enjoyed the up to date texts last night. Pretty amazed at Dale's tune you've been running around on. His Butt dyno ain't bad either.

Can't say enough good things about Underground Performance. Now I need to get back down there and uncork this JDM .

Awesome setup!
I'm glad to see more cars locally kicking up the power responsibly.

Now if you would actually show up to an event other than a straight line contest, that'd be something to see.
