Default Subie Love - '13 WRX Hatch (with pictures)

I've had my WRX since mid July and I have say that I love this thing!

It all started with wanting a bug eyed hatch in 2001 but I couldn't, or shouldn't, pull it off. I sold the 2002 Civic Coupe I purchased in place of the WRX I actually wanted and placed an order on a WRX. I couldn't be happier with it! A smile hits my face every time I drive it and give the gas a little push. Heck, I rather hear the engine than music even during casual driving. I have already ~8500 miles on it. Some of that is due to several mountain biking adventures. Nearly every mile has been great... except when she was trapped on the side of the highway during a hail storm near Colorado. I was very relieved there was no damage (at all).

I look forward to putting its snow shoes on and see how the winter goes by.

Enjoy some pictures...

Thanks! That's the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS with a oxy black bezel. I think the darker trim goes really well instead of the silver. Matches the rest of the dash really well. It was stupid pricey for a piece of plastic though...

Nice color! Although I think it is DGM, not DMG.

And have you thought about getting the JDM bezel for your new HUD? It is the right size to make the gaps a lot smaller around the HUD. I think it looks a lot cleaner.

Yep, that is the JDM bezel. Just in "oxy black".

Thanks for the DGM tip. I'll correct that typo.
