Default 02 wrx trans in a '95 Impreza

Hey guys! I swapped a wrx 5 Speed Trans into my '95 impreza about two years ago. Problem I'm having is my speedo is a cable and the wrx Trans is a sensor. Is there a way to fix this without a cluster swap?

I think in order to use the cable speedo you have to swap the speedo gear from your transmission to the wrx transmission. I don't know this for sure but am pretty sure I've read something like that.

The original tranny was an auto, in addition to that the speedo cable hooked up right in the center of the Trans on the passengers side. The wrx's speedo sensor is up on the front casing of the Trans right behind the bell housing the cable wouldn't reach.
