Thumbs up Finalizing Rallycross & BBQ Plans

Final BBQ plans:

-Gas BBQ grill (W/spare tank of gas) - Bud
-2 cases bottled water (16 oz, I'll freeze a few) - Bud
-Ketchup, mustard, relish - Bud
-Hot dogs - Mike
-Paper plates & plastic wear - Mike
-Tables - Bill Barfoot
-Napkins/paper towels/trash bags - Bill Barfoot
-Potato Chips (Make a request for your favorite type)- Bill Barfoot
-2 large coolers W/ice - Bill Barfoot
-Soda (diet & regular) - Dave (H1)
-Buns for the dogs - Dallas (My bro, -Bud)

--- And... don't forget the sunscreen. We do live in the desert!

*** I think that about covers it! Thanks all! ***

RE: Hotdogs & buns: Hmm... least common multiple of 8 and 10 is 40 - 4 packs of dogs and 5 packs of buns, sounds about right

I'm guessing 15-20 people in our group, so if you're bring more people please make sure you bring enoug stuff for them.

I removed the hamburgers from the list to simplify things (and save Mike some money ). Of course, anyone is welcome to bring whatever they like (so Mike, if you had your heart set on a burger, feel free).

Thanks to all who donate. This'll be a better event for us all because of it.

-Bud

OK, my brother and sister-in-law volunteered to bring the hotdog buns.

So, the only thing thing we really need is some cold drinks/soda. Maybe a couple of people could bring small coolers. I'm going to bring a couple of cases of bottled water (I'll probably just throw most of it in the freezer the night before), but I'm sure we'll need more. Also, water with hotdogs and chips is kinda' booring.

This is great! Thanks folks,

-Red

Bud-
Since I will be in Mexico from Wed till Sat, and I won't get out there till the afternoon session, I'll make life easier and bring my own stuff. I don't want people having to wait on me for stuff to eat or whatever.

Bill-
Are there going to be loaner helmets? Would you happen to know the fastest route from the south side of town? I'll be coming from 40th St and Broadway. I was thinking 10 west to 101 north to grand on out to happyvalley. I hate Sun city so I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible.

thanks,
ron

Excellent! I think we're pretty well covered. About the only other things we'll need are chairs, shade and sunscreen. Everyone bring their own (and maybe a little extra).

Thanks to everyone who volunteered.

Ron,

No problem. Let me know if you end up needing anything and bring that RS back safe from Mexico.

I'll bring some hamburger patties and buns, probably enough for 10-15 hamburgers.

I will just stick with the Hot-Dogs for right now. I have to save my money for when Bud decides to sell me his Yokohamas.

FYI: I will be incommunicado until the rallycross on Sunday as I have lost my hard drive at home.

So we should be sure to finalize any plans today. (E-mail me if think you might need my phone number. I don't really want to post it on-line.)

no one mentioned chip types preferred... you gonna leave it up to my weird chilli and lime tastes? Man I wish they would bring back cheeto flavored doritoes...

Chilli and lime are good! Anything Cajun is good. Sour cream and onion are popular.

Just don't get those piss-and-vinegar chips.

I like just the plain flavor chips. But don't bring a whole bag on my account. I will eat whatever is available.
