Default do you want a 2015 WRX hatchback?

This poll is to understand how many people really want a hatchback.
SOA has listened to us Subaru fans before so if you want hatch then vote.

I'm sure we will see the new hatch here in the US in the future since it will be available in Japan, but it will be at least a year or two. When they bring it here, it will have everything to do with sales ... Not a poll on a forum.

Plus I would like to point out that if Subaru listened to us we would have forged internals, Recaro seats, more than 300hp, and several other things on the wishlist .... And we have none of those.

Did I miss the part where people have time machines? They aren't offering any 2015 vehicles at all yet. How about you wait until the car is actually released before you complain??

Man, have you even seen the fanfare and hoopla of the introduction of the 2015 WRX? Well, have you?

I propose this. Go to your friendly Toyota dealer. Buy a new Corolla. Put a Subaru badge on the front......there ya go. 2015 WRX.

Crossing fingers we will see something in 2017! The argument of "Americans do not want five doors" is preposterous. Five doors is Subaru's market. If they sold more Legacy sedan's than Outbacks; then there might be something to it.

For me personally...

No wagon = no sale. I think the 2015 is a big step in the right direction, but I wouldn't have one with my own money as a sedan only. Until then, I'll just hang on to my 04, thanks.

No, I don't want a new 2015 wrx and glad that I purchased my 2012 wrx hatchback. The body panels mirror the new impreza and doesn't stand apart enough. There were a few years subaru did this with their cars, and will probably bring it back a few years after the release of the sedan. It's all about sales like the one person said before. They've done a pretty goo job putting themselves out there so far- I'm sure it will come in due time.

No wagon/hatch = no 2015 wrx for me. Sedan is nice but lacks the practically I need. Besides, my 02 and 05 wagons are holding up fine.

All of the comments like these now have me understanding why Subaru doesn't listen to NASIOC much.

Interesting since this new one if more different than any previous version.

I haven't been a fan of any impreza wrx/STi past 2007. The new models are too 'big' for me. I drive my father's 2011 STi frequently and compared to my 2007 STi, it feels more DD worthy than track worthy and I'm a fan of the race car feel. I like the noise, the bare bones, no insulation, crappy radio, no power trunk, intercooler spray and race car stuff like that. My opinion of course. I can see why people like the newer models, they are more family cars and more comfortable for DD, but to me, thats away from what they used to make the STi for. I thought the STi was supposed to give you the idea that you're in a street legal (for a lack of better words) 'rally car'.

Three letters B R Z... Unfortunately.

And Even that took Toyota's ungodly resources to accomplish.

Maybe because in the past the impreza was based off the WRX.

I have bought the version that they race in. My 05 was a sedan and my 12 is a wagon.

Poll wont let me vote because it says I don't have at least 25 post. Ive been here since 10.. I should have way more than 25.

Anyhow, NO HATCH NO SALE for me

Why and how is a sedan more economical ?? really Subaru ? I thought Subaru was all about doing things. . .you can do way more with a hatch.

And like people say, maybe its just the reverse of the hatch only in 2008. . .

Screw the hatch, have them bring Levorg as WRX wagon. I posted this in another thread:

I think the best move SOA can do is to bring Levorg as a "WRX sports wagon" or "WRX sports tourer" (to avoid the dreaded wagon word ). Limit the number of trims to keep overhead costs down - maybe just base and a premium (leather, moonroof, etc.). Choice of manual and CVT on both. It would appeal to:

- most Impreza hatchback fans
- GD Impreza wagon buyers
- Legacy wagon buyers
- wagons buyers in general

Granted is not as polished as the BP Legacy wagon was, but looks good enough and has enough technological advances (in the engine at least) it would be a natural upgrade path.

It seems fuel efficient enough, so don't bother with a N/A version - folks who simply want a wagon/hatch, but otherwise do not care for performance much, would still consider getting it. CUV folks have enough choices already.

I'd rather have the sedan than a wagon, but I want a hatch. However I don't really NEED a hatch. It would just be very convenient and I prefer the look.
