Default More Throttle Body questions

I took a look at the TB the other day and did some searching on here. Instead of boring out the TB, I was thinking of chucking it up in the lathe and doing the "knide edging" I read about and removing the lip at the bottom of the bore. It's a nasty lip.

I haven't read anything about the screws other than cutting of the excess. I was thinking of trying to find some button head screws. Anybody know where I can find some metric ones.

Also has anyone every hear of people cutting the throttle shaft down some. It could use some work.

Last I was thinking of tapering the top side of the butterfly.

What do you think, wasting time on fairly stock engine?

Check out Quantam Racings throttle body Stage 2 polish - I don't know how much improvement it would give in terms of performance, but it can't hurt

I did checked them out, if it doesn't improve that much why do all that work. It seems if you do the lip at the bottom and the knife edge that would be the biggest gain for a stock vehicle(other than making the bore larger). Do they cut the throttle shaft, I couldn't tell. This also would be another gain for a stock bore. I was suprised about the stock screws being used even if trimmed, button heads alone would be better than the hex heads.

I did some more looking around under the hood. It looks like the manifold could use a radius edge, but I wouldn't want to take it off to do it. Also I looked at the connections for various hose connections, they also could use tapered edges. Anyone doing this? Also anyone cleaning up the turbo themselfs?
