Post would have made my mother cry

I was driving through downtown, saw a orange Lamborghini VT parked at valet as Avalanche fans head to the playoff game when a red BMW M Coupe pulled up behind me. We proceeded through the light when he decided to show me what he had. I was then polite enough to show him what I had. That made him curious enough to slide in front of me as I was going to make a left turn which would take me down a quick left bend hill in to a fast right bend then a good straight. I thought the our business was over, but it wasn't. The light turned green he took off, and I decided to follow him just to make sure he would be safe. Around the left bend following close he almost lost it from a dip, (I knew that was there), we proceeded around the right hander. My tires were making a lot of noise, tail slid out just a inch or two. Still right behind him. On to the straight hung right behind him, he hit the brakes and turned into a parking lot, I keep going. I felt he was safe now. He was probably wondering to himself, was that a Subaru? Yep, a WRX and it had snow tyres on. Would have made my mother cry.

I had a Mazda Miata chase me thru Rancho Santa Fe this afternoon. He sure was chasing after his car disappeared thru the first series of twisties. (probably didn't know how to drive his car) I noticed with the Scoob, that transitioning turns while lifting off the throttle provides nice lift from the rear end. Perhaps a sway bar could turn that into useful oversteer.

Skylab

Glad you showed him up!

That guy with the Diablo is always at the Subaru dealership by my house getting serviced. I just saw that orange one in person a day ago- it's the brand new 6.0 AWD! $280,000... Sweeeeettt... but too expensive. That's his one of 5 Diablos! He had a purple roadster at the dealer today. Verrrrry nice.

That's good to hear, ACT. I can't wait until I get my wagon, and put the DMS and 17" P1s on. Should be a slot car.

John Elway dealership in Golden is the only Colorado Lamborghini dealer. That's why you see them.
